Secateurs for Charity

At Sam’s Sunflowers, our secateurs do more than help visitors pick their perfect sunflower, they help us give back to our local community.
During the 2026 season, our visitors helped us raise an incredible £19,793.67 for local charities and causes, supporting 24 different charities, organisations and community groups.
Our secateur hire gives visitors the opportunity to make a donation, with every contribution, big or small, going towards a local cause. Each day, a different charity or organisation is supported, meaning that every sunflower picked helps to give something back to our community.

For 2027, we’re once again looking for local charities, community groups, clubs and organisations to join us as part of our Secateurs for Charity programme.
If your organisation would like to be considered, please email us stokefruitfarmmedia@gmail.com.
Please note that we try and support charities based on hayling island and in havant, these charities will be given priority when it comes to availability.

We’re incredibly proud of what our visitors have helped us achieve, and we can’t wait to see what we can raise together in 2027!
